Moonshot's API is provided by Moonshot AI Pte. Ltd. in Singapore, on servers in Singapore. Its terms let it use customer content to improve its services unless agreed otherwise in writing, and zero data retention is offered to enterprise customers on request (Moonshot's terms and privacy policy, read 2026-10-19).
Through UplinkSwitch, request and response bodies pass through the gateway and are not written anywhere unless you turn on replay for a key (privacy). Each Kimi id gets a fixed test prompt every day, with the results public on the real-model check.
